Production companies along the approx. 20,000 km coastline from the Gulf of Alaska to the Bering Sea immediately process the freshly caught fish without significant losses and thereby guarantee freshness and quality. In Pickenpack Seafoods’ modern facility in northern Germany, the single-frozen raw ingredients from Alaska – FAO 67 – are processed and refined into delicious and innovative products.

In order to ensure fish stocks for future generations, Pickenpack Seafoods guarantees responsible fishing. We support environmental standards that ensure fair and environmentally compatible fishing and are proud to be able to offer products caught sustainably.

The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is an independent, nonprofit organization that has taken on the task of securing global fish and seafood stocks for the future. A product bearing the MSC seal comes from a fishery that preserves fish stocks and habitats in its fishing zone. Further information about MSC you can find under www.msc.org.

We are proud to be the first company in Europe to be successfully certified according to the Responsible Fisheries Management (RFM) standard and to be able to offer our customers products with sustainably managed raw materials certified according to the RFM standard.
